Paulo Gallo is an Award Winning Chilean composer
and music producer based between Berlin and Santiago.
The Music and Sound Awards UK gave him the best score and sound design award 2021 for a shortfilm, on same year the Peer Raben music Award in Cologne, Germany, his music/scores and film projects have been praised internationaly on Screendaily, Forbes, The New Yor Times, Nowness, Vimeo Staff Picks, Shots Magazine, Cannes Lyons, YDA.
Recent Highlligths are his new score for the shortfilm “Ovejas & Lobos” selected at Clermont- Ferrand’s Shortfilm Festival 2024 2 Contemporary pieces written for Ensemble and a solo performer at Staatstheater Tanz Kassel, Germany playing in 23’/24’ season, and the aclaimed Amazon Prime’s Whats App‘s global 2022 Awarded film -Naija Oddysey- ft. NBA Champion Giannis Antetokounmpo. (Clio awards 2023, British Arrows 2023, CICLOPE 2023)
The Amazon Prime exclusive feature film IMMERSION (dir. Nicolás Postiglione) 3 times winner at Guadalajara international film festival 2021, Special Jury Price at PÖFF Tallinn Black Nigths 2021, official selection at Torino International Film Festival, Special Mention at Cinelatino, Toulouse.

__Paulo also scored and sound designed shortfilm TERRA CENE (Dirs. Rodrigo Inada / Nono Ayuso) this year Commisioned by KARMAN premiered in NOWNESS in alliance with the European Space Agency, based on the awareness of climate change, praised in YDA cannes GOLD, 1.4 and 12 times in Berlin Commercial, and the multi-nominated/awarded dance shortfilm TOKE (2021) (dir. Nono Ayuso) Produced by The Jacob Jonas Dance Company in LA.” being this last one his most awarded work to date.
Full Bio
After a short interaction with Antropology, native from Santiago, Paulo got into music composition and ensemble arranging studies at Escuela Moderna De Música de Chile, Santiago + later 1 year studying chamber ensemble combinations and orchestration in Berlin.
